When you order pay attention to "hidden cost of 2,50€/person, in the bottom right corner of the drinks menu"... No one will tell you by voice until you pay and, yes it is written, but this is the statement "BREAD, service and" coperto"". At least to be fair and correct, they should bring the BREAD so... It was not the case. I didn't ask because I didn't want, but if you make me to pay you should bring, minimum requirement. The pizza anyway was good. The story of these added costs not expressly explained, unfortunately is common in Italy. No problem for tipping a waiter but "problem" not to be serious. Thank you
We visited Rosso Pomodoro Milano Centrale on May 19, and we had a really good experience with friendly service and genuine attention to customers. The pizza was delicious, and the staff gave great recommendations on what to order. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. What stood out the most was the warm and attentive service. One of the staff members took time to listen to us, explained and suggested how to get to the place we needed to reach in another Italian city, and genuinely tried to help us understand the transport options. He even checked several times later to make sure we had managed to solve our situation and figure everything out. He also recommended the tiramisu, which was really delicious. We ordered coffee as well and felt very welcome throughout the whole visit. Another thing we truly appreciated was that they allowed us to charge our phones, which was extremely helpful during the trip after our power bank had died and we had no easy access to another charging point. The staff regularly stopped by to chat and make sure everything was okay, and before leaving we were even treated to limoncello, which made the whole experience feel personal and friendly. What made this visit especially nice was the timing. This was our last experience in Milan after a stressful situation where we had missed our train and felt a bit overwhelmed. The kindness, attention, and positive atmosphere at the restaurant genuinely helped us regain our good mood and end our trip on a better note.
A decent option if you’re eating at Milano Centrale. The atmosphere is average—nothing special, but comfortable enough for a quick meal. The service is also average, but the food comes out fast, which is a big plus at a busy train station. The appetizer was very tasty and a great start to the meal. The salad was average, while the fish was excellent and clearly the highlight—fresh and well cooked. Overall, Rossopomodoro Stazione Milano Centrale is a practical choice for a quick sit-down meal, especially if you’re short on time and want good fish without high expectations for atmosphere or service.
Hidden corner cafe just near train exit point of Milan Centrale station. Great place to grab and go breakfast or dine in for a quick one with seating before you board your train. Affordable breakfast set available- 2.3€ or 3€ with choice of espresso or cappuccino with an accompanying pastry.
Really nice pizzeria ! Pros: Generous portions - quick service - tasty pizza especially 5 formaggio pizza - good quality - variety of pasta & pizza types are available within the menu - featured location and nice location inside the central train station. Cons: tables are too close to each other. To conclude, I’d recommend this place for pizza lovers.
