Without a doubt, Il Mannarino Navigli was one of the highlights of my trip to Milan. A friend recommended it to us, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had in the city. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an impressive butcher's counter displaying a beautiful selection of fresh meats and premium cuts. Being able to personally choose exactly what you want to eat makes the experience feel authentic and unique. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to guide us through the menu. Since we wanted to try something truly local, they made excellent recommendations that we probably wouldn't have chosen on our own, and every suggestion was outstanding. The wine selection is equally impressive, with plenty of excellent options to pair with the food. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and showcased the quality of the ingredients. Dinner here wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. If you're visiting Milan and appreciate great meat, authentic Italian hospitality, and an excellent wine list, Il Mannarino Navigli is a place you shouldn't miss. I will definitely return on my next visit to Milan, and I highly recommend it.
Absolutely disrespectful, and downright rude attitude and service at this place, but if you don't mind that, there's a large variety of meats to choose from. The lamb chops were unfortunately insanely overcooked and totally dry, the tartar was nice but boring, with old bread crumbs on top, and the salad was the size of a child's portion. We sat outside for about 25 minutes, nobody showed up, nobody said hi, nobody brought a menu and then when I went inside to inquire if they are open today, the man rudely told me that I have to come inside to order. Would a simple sign outside on every table to point that out be too much to ask? I'll be back for another evaluation but not expecting too much at this moment.
A great dining experience overall. I really liked the concept of ordering at the counter first—it makes the whole process very efficient, and the food arrives at the table surprisingly quickly. The meat was cooked perfectly and the quality was excellent, especially considering the very fair prices. The value for money is outstanding. The only downside was the table service after being seated. If you need something during the meal, it can take a while to get a server’s attention. Overall, a very good restaurant with delicious food, a smart ordering system, and excellent value. I would definitely come back.
Came here and had dinner for one. The place has a beautiful ambiance and great service. You have to pick your dishes before you sit down. I picked one of their pasta, it was 7/10. I had a very crunchy and well-cooked chicken cutlet and stuffed chicken breast, 7/10. I liked their apperitivos at the end and their ragu on bread entry was delicious.
This place is a must for steak lovers. They offer a great selection of dry-aged beef where you can choose your preferred cut, priced by weight. We had the T-bone, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of rich flavor. Even on Valentine’s Day, the wait wasn’t long, and the atmosphere felt cozy . Service was friendly and attentive, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. Don’t skip the tiramisu — light, creamy, and delicious.
