I highly recommend this restaurant for an elevated dinning experience. The cuisine is rooted into what makes Italian/Mediterranean cuisine great: fresh ingredients like the best tomatoes and lamb enjoyed alongside good bread, olive oil and wine!
Great food and very friendly service. The asparagus was truly amazing. So was the monk fish. Everything looked gear and tasted even better. The room itself is not great. But it is ok. The friendliness of the waiters is paired by their competences.
It was a good experience. The dishes were thoughtfully composed, and the pairing of ingredients was very well done. You can tell there was a lot of attention to balance and flavor in each course. That said, the service was not as proactive as we expected. Since this is a Michelin one-star restaurant, we felt the attentiveness and overall hospitality could be improved a bit. One small inconvenience was that the restroom is located on another floor, so you need to take the elevator, which was not very convenient. Overall, it’s still a place worth trying at least once.
I visited Sadler for dinner and had the traditional tasting menu. The amuse-bouche was excellent, and the ravioli and the lamb were absolutely delicious. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the food. Among the Michelin one-star restaurants I’ve tried, this was probably the most delicious. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the food. The female sommelier was kind, but I noticed a smell of cigarette smoke. I had also mentioned that we were there for a birthday and asked if it would be possible to write a short birthday message when the dessert was served, but this seemed to have been forgotten. The male staff member who presented the dishes felt a bit mechanical, as if he was simply reciting something memorized. There wasn’t much interaction. He explained the dishes and left very quickly, and when I tried to ask a question he had already moved on, so I’m not sure he heard me. The food was outstanding, but it was a bit disappointing that the service didn’t quite keep up with the quality of the cuisine.
An unforgettable birthday experience My husband and I had the pleasure of having lunch at Sadler in Milan to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. It was the first time I celebrated my birthday in another country, and this restaurant exceeded all our expectations. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of refined flavors. The service made the experience even more special — the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. Sadler turned a special day into an unforgettable one, and we will cherish this memory. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Milan.
