We had a wonderful experience at The Meatball Family! The whole family absolutely loved it. The staff was incredible, beginning with Sara and two gentlemen who were both fast and generous with their excellent recommendations. We sat outside, enjoyed the fantastic weather, and had a truly memorable meal. If we are ever back in Milan, we will definitely come again. Thank you to the team for the amazing service and an incredible experience!
Great service and freindly staff. Carbonara and tiramisu were both top tier. Great red wine. Complimentary bread fresh out oven with a proper crust on. Highly recommend
We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Sara and Matteo were very friendly and helped us a lot with choosing the wine and the menu. We would love to come back again. The Meatball Spaghetti were especially delicious.
Best meatballs and spaghetti! We had been in Italy for a week and I was not satisfied with some of the pastas and sauces. I was really craving meatballs and we were staying in Navigli in Milan. I searched for a restaurant on google for meatballs close by and found Meatball Family. So glad we ate here cos this is the best restaurant we ate at in Italy. We ordered “sphaghetti meatball” and “Risotto alla Milanese con Polpette di Ossobucco” (Milan risotto with veal meatballs)— Both were delicious!!!! The cherry tomato sauce with the meatballs were the perfect acidity and the spaghetti was cooked perfectly!!! If you are visiting or are in Milan— check out Meatball Family! I want to go back to Milan just to eat here again!!!!
We got a bit fooled by the high ratings here, unfortunately. We tried the fish and chips, but it was just three small ball shaped pieces of fish, not what we expected. The spaghetti bolognese wasn’t long pasta like we thought, it was tube-shaped. We also ordered mashed potatoes, but it came as small fried potato pieces, definitely not mashed. On top of that, the prices felt pretty expensive for what you get. Honestly, not really satisfied with our order.
