This was our last evening in Milan and we decided to splurge a bit. The food was everything we expected and more. The food was *incredible*. The service was friendly and warm. They remembered our preferences and yet gave us space and time to enjoy our meal. If you want an elevated dining experience that still serves seasonal and local dishes you must come here!
I was truly impressed by Bauscia in Milan. From the moment we arrived until the end of the evening, everything felt exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and romantic, making it the perfect place for a special dinner. Each dish was a true explosion of flavor, every plate felt like a little surprise that delighted the palate from start to finish. The wine experience was also outstanding. We were initially considering a more expensive bottle, but the waitress kindly shared her honest recommendation and guided us toward a more affordable option that turned out to be absolutely perfect, honestly even more enjoyable than what we had in mind. That level of attentiveness made a real difference. Another big plus is the opening hours. Unlike many restaurants in Milan that close early, Bauscia stays open until midnight, which is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers dealing with jet lag. Overall, a truly wonderful restaurant with delicious food, a romantic ambiance, and thoughtful service. Highly recommended.
Everything was outstanding! We of course loved the traditional risotto with veal. However I would highly recommend the gnochetti with zucchini cream sauce. I didn't want it to end. The seafood mix was also excellent - sort of like ceviche but less acidic. Eggplant with arugula was also very good. Shared the classic tirramisou and were not disappointed. We sat inside. Advice to others is to dress up a little to enjoy the vibe more.. Shorts and t-shirts seemed a little out of place here.
Had a wonderful meal at Bauscia and fantastic service from Vielen Dank. Tremendous pastas, including the truffle and zucchini pastas, veal Milanese was sublime, osso bucco was flavorful and tender. Cocktails were great. Overall an incredible experience.
Booked a table for 1 after friend recommended it for my first stay in Milan. Ordered the Vittelo Tonnato, the Risotto alla Milanese and the Tiramisu. Started with a Negroni Sbagliato to dive into the Milan vibe. The Vittelo was revisited and did not disappoint. Creamy risotto could not be faulted. Only downside is that they don’t serve wine by the glass but only by the bottle which could be reconsidered for solo patrons.
