Sarah and Ali provide excellent service and make this venue stand out. The entire staff is professional and friendly. However, please note that the restrooms are on the lower level, which can be somewhat inconvenient.

Step into the courtyard and you're transported to a typical, yet enchanting Italian eatery. The service is fantastic, with great wine choices. Highlights include the cheese platter - a must-try for local cheese lovers - and the risotto all'osso bucco, a twist on the classic risotto milanese. Homemade desserts round off the meal nicely. Don Lisander is a peaceful, authentic spot serving up delicious Italian dishes. Highly recommended for a genuine Milanese experience 👍.
This was hands down the best veal Milanese we’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful inside- truly flawless. Every dish we tried felt like it couldn’t have been done any better. The flavors were rich without being too heavy, and you could really taste the quality in the ingredients. The ossobuco was just as memorable ( melt-in-your-mouth) beautifully cooked, and deeply comforting in that classic, traditional Italian way. The service was incredible! An all-around exceptional dining experience and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Milan
💙💙💙 OMG!!!! Delightful. Food is exceptional and worth the price. Their wine list goes from $40 and up, with all wines being of exceptional quality. Because it not “near” the Duomo, they are not “price gouging” their customers. I will be eating here EVERY YEAR I visit Milano. 💙💙💙
