L’Immagine Bistrot was hands down one of the best experiences we had. Mirko, the owner, is unbelievably hospitable, you genuinely feel like you’re in his home. He kept bringing out little extras for us and made everyone feel so welcome. The staff were all so friendly, the food was delicious, and the whole place just had so much heart. One of the coolest touches was the candy everywhere that you can help yourself to. We were told that when Mirko was young and his parents owned a restaurant, he used to bring candy to the tables, and he’s kept that tradition alive. Such a special place with so much character.
This restaurant — and me — are living proof that my ex had good taste. She called it “the best restaurant,” and to my surprise, she was right. By far the best Black Angus meat I’ve ever had, and the tiramisu is angelic. I’m glad that, for once, I listened to the advice. 10/10.
If there’s one thing you do in Milan- let it be a meal in this restaurant. My husband and I visited last year in September and it remains one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Italy. The atmosphere of the place is something you’d describe as familial and familiar. The staff is just so warm and kind! The food, drinks and wine are absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back and honestly I’d add Milan to my trip just so I can go back here :)
If you’re in Milan you have to eat here. The owner Mirco is a real character. He made us feel at home instantly. The service staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much. My husband has severe allergies and was well taken care of. It’s a great experience. You need to make a reservation. Highly recommended.
One of, if not THE best meal I've ever had. Food was incredible, service was rapid and staff were friendly. We got given free food to try, a whole jar of sweets to eat and a complimentary jug of Meloncello (which I happily drank) on top of that they even rounded the bill down! Only rated 5 because I can't rate it 10. True gem of italy and will be returning!
