This is a Michelin-recommended spot, so I came with fairly high expectations, yet the ingredient execution fell short in several dishes. • Tempura was crispy and special but overly greasy, lacking the light texture of authentic Japanese tempura. • Pasta turned out fantastic and totally exceeded my expectations, perfectly seasoned and well-cooked. • Grilled fish was far too salty; excess salt overpowered the fish’s natural fresh flavor. Solid pasta and great amuse-bouche saves the meal overall, hope the kitchen adjusts seasoning and frying technique next time.

We had an amazing experience at Remulass! The food was exactly what we needed - vegetable based with fish! All dishes had so many flavor profiles! All ingredients so well matched to eachother, it was a truly exceptional food journey! It seems hard to find vegetables in the center of attention in Italy where carbs with not many spices play the main role and greens are only to be find as sides maybe. We will be back!

A pleasant venue with a very concise menu, almost entirely focused on vegetables, prepared in a way that makes them genuinely indulgent and satisfying—even for picky eaters and non-vegetarians. A couple of dishes feature a subtle inclusion of fish. The service is efficient and attentive, provided by friendly and courteous staff. I will definitely return. (Perhaps the space was a bit overly “fragrant”? Possibly a scented candle or a particularly strong cleaning product used on the tables.)

True and clever cuisine. You have the real taste of all ingredients. It’s simple yet sophisticated. It’s indulgent without being heavy or having comfort food character. I had the carrots with sour cream, sofrito and flax seeds crackers. Each bite was delicious. And then the cod with plum chutney and chard leaves. Original flavours especially with the chutney. Delicate and very clear approach that the chef is putting in the plate.

We read about Remulass on the Michelin Guide and were intrigued to try it out while in Milan. We decided to go for the tasting menu, but overall, we left feeling a bit disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, although there was an unusually long 30+ minute gap before our final main course, which broke the flow of the meal. The food itself was good and nicely presented, but the all-vegetarian menu lacked that element of surprise or creativity we were hoping for in a tasting experience. It was pleasant but didn’t really stand out in a memorable way. The biggest disappointment, however, was the wine selection. We chose a Sauvignon Blanc from Italy’s Dolomites region, a wine we had never tried before. Unfortunately, it had a very strong, pungent aroma and unusual taste that initially repulsed us. When we asked about it, the staff explained that it’s sometimes nicknamed “pipi de gato” (cat’s urine), something we really wish we’d been warned about beforehand! Although we eventually came to somewhat appreciate its uniqueness by the end of the dinner. The staff did offer to change the wine, which we appreciated, but it would have been helpful if they had advised us beforehand about how distinctive and unconventional it was. All in all, while the atmosphere was pleasant and service warm, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations.
