Reviews
I already knew Trapizzino from Rome, so I had high expectations coming here. The chicken one is exactly how I remembered it and honestly, it still tastes amazing. But this time, the gentleman working there helped us choose two more. One with pork and one with meatballs. Both were incredible. Seriously some of the best comfort food I’ve had during this trip. The older gentleman working there was also super friendly and genuinely helpful with the recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It’s honestly hard to decide which one was my favorite because all three were fantastic. Easy 10/10.
I would have missed this gem if Chocolatini (next door) had been open. Since I couldn’t have a meal of chocolate, I thought hmm I’ll get a Suppli at Trapizzino. (We had just been to Palermo and I loved suppli.) But when I went inside and saw the chicken cacciatore favolosa I quickly changed my mind. I also ordered the polpetta al sugo favolosa and they were stupendous! It’s like a folded pizza crust pocket with an overstuffed filling. If you are hungry and need something filling and flavorful take a metro, a boat or walk to the navigali district and get fed well! The manager was friendly and from Rome and wanted to make sure everyone who came in the door was relaxed, enjoyed themselves and left happy. I definitely left happy - with a full stomach and hand as I ordered a chocolate torte portare via. It was pure Chocolate heaven! Grazie Mille!
I had sandwich with eggplant, which was really tasty. Good choice in Naviglie when you want to taste local street food.
