Spanish Restaurants in Milan

If you’re craving Spanish flavors in Milan, you won’t be disappointed. The city’s Spanish restaurants might not be everywhere, but the few true ones scattered around are well worth a visit.

My personal favorite spot is in Porta Romana. This isn’t some touristy place. It feels like stepping into a little corner of Spain with dishes like jamón ibérico that melts in your mouth and perfectly crisp patatas bravas. And yes, they pour a decent glass of Rioja too. Don't expect flashy decor here,it's unpretentious and focused on good food and warm vibes.

On the other hand, in Navigli, you’ll find a lively bar that nails tapas selections and late-night drinks. It gets busy on weekends so either get there early or just go with the flow and enjoy a spritz while waiting.

If you want to impress at a sit-down meal, try the slow-cooked oxtail or a seafood paella during the cooler months. Oh, and a heads up: some places don’t open for lunch, so check hours before heading out. It’s a nice change of pace from Milan’s usual Italian menus, and you might even spot some friendly locals from Spain popping in for a quick bite.
