Italian beef is largely underated. Unless you're asking for a bistecca fiorentina you're likely ignoring the richness available elsewhere. On this case, an amazing, rich, tartare with mustard and a sublime Piemontese t-bone to reduce any New York steakhouse to tears. And a "chocolate carpaccio" that was both simple and just what the doctor ordered. Highly, highly recommended.
Nero9 in Milan was an amazing experience. We first visited on Thursday to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what truly made the experience stand out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and genuine, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again on Saturday for dinner—and to our surprise, they even recognized us. The owner is a wonderful person—kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The manager was also fantastic, very friendly and humorous, and we shared a lot of laughs with him. Overall, it’s definitely a place worth returning to. If you’re in Milan, Nero9 is a must-visit.
We had a wonderful evening, amazing food, incredibly welcoming staff and overall a fantastic experience. Everything we ate was exceptional. We shared two 1.4kg steaks between 5 and it was the perfect amount of meat. Incredible flavour and so tender. Even the side dishes were incredible. If you're a fan of dark chocolate I can highly recommend the slices of dark chocolate with caramel and salt - perfection.
We had our New Year’s dinner here, and it was truly unforgettable. The starter was generous and varied, the truffle pasta perfectly al dente and bursting with flavor, and the steak – honestly the best we’ve ever had – a dream in terms of quality. The desserts, especially the chocolate carpaccio, were pure indulgence. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with the meal. Every euro spent was absolutely worth it. The service was wonderful too – attentive, friendly, and with just the right touch of humor. 100% recommendation for this little gem 💎
I was filet/tenderloin guy on holiday with the wife and this place: - blew me away in terms of taste and service (at 2+ Michelin star level without the fuss) - made me love my wife even more (she reserved it) - restored my faith in humanity So don’t go for anything but the bone in local recommended steak. Go for the menu. Be guided by the best, live the life you came to Milan for. You will not regret anything you to or order in this place
