El Gauco, located near the charming Navigli district, offers a delightful dining experience that shouldn't be missed. During our visit, the restaurant was not overly busy, allowing us to fully enjoy the ambiance and our evening without distractions. The menu features an impressive range of meat and beef options, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to quality. We started with the carpaccio, which, while slightly thicker than expected, was full of flavor and very enjoyable. The mains were the highlight of our meal; the meat was extraordinarily tender, practically melting in our mouths like butter, a true testament to their cooking expertise. Overall, El Gauco is a fantastic restaurant that combines a relaxed atmosphere with superb food. Whether you’re a meat lover or simply looking for a great dining spot in Milan, I highly recommend giving it a try

I was in Italy for 2 weeks cycling and hiking around the Dolomites and spent sometime in the food capital in Bologna as well. For my final night in Milan, I didn’t wanna risk trying something new and I’ve had enough of pasta pizza pistachio prosciutto. So I came back to El Gaucho which was my most memorable meal this trip. Clearly it didn’t disappoint and I was lucky to bump into the coowner, the legendary Javier Zanetti, having his dinner here as well.
