Reviews
Some excellent dishes and a couple of misses. The Osso Bucco, Truffle Tagliatelle and Tiramisu were excellent. The Lasagna was average and the Canolli had been in the fridge too long and was soft. While other reviewers had great service, mine was very average. Still, it was a decent dinner.
We ordered the vegetarian omelette combo, scrambled eggs with toast, two Marocchinos, French toast, and a tomato omelette. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The staff were very friendly and attentive, regularly checking that everything was to our satisfaction. I really appreciate this aspect of Italian hospitality—it makes the dining experience feel very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this bistrot to anyone visiting Milan.
The food here looked amazing!! 4 stars purely on our experience and menu choice. The table we had was tiny so we couldn't fit everything on it. The bread basket had to go in the nearby flower pot 🤣 The French toast though looked incredible was served with squirty cream and not Greek yoghurt, which let down the experience.
Amazing place for brunch or breakfast and also the best meal we had in Milan. I was delighted by their version of the English Breakfast, taking it to another level. Everything was delicious! Staff was super nice and they even offered me to change the cappuccino from the set menu to a double espresso free of charge. Totally recommended!
The best meal we had in Milan! Service and food were perfect from start to finish. I made a reservation via WhatsApp, and the response was quick, and the manager was expecting us. He encouraged us to view the dishes in the kitchen and ask for any of what we would like. Larissa served us and gave great suggestions, especially the aperol spritz! I normally don't love them, but it was not too sweet and as she said, truly was "perfetto!" When the manager learned my father in law was born in Sicily, he brought out a high end Sicilian olive oil for the bread, introduced us to the chef who was Sicilian, and brought a delicious Sicilian limoncello for after the meal. He truly treated us like royalty, and I can say the polpetti (meatballs) in sauce (not pictured) and steak were some of the best I've ever eaten. A must visit spot for excellent, authentic Italian food in Milan.
