Visited the restaurant yesterday hoping for a local, non-touristy atmosphere, but I wish I had read the reviews more carefully beforehand. Like so many other reviewers have mentioned, I also had an unpleasant experience with the waiter everyone seems to be referring to (the one with bracelets and earrings). He initially spoke to me in Italian, and as soon as he realised I wasn’t Italian, his attitude changed completely. He seemed annoyed, tossing the menu and bread basket onto the table as if they were rubbish. I was seated in the back patio, but after only a couple of minutes I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes, so I politely asked if I could move to a table inside. It was a completely reasonable request, yet he gave me the worst look and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. After seating me inside, the woman at the next table asked him what had happened (in Italian), and he started mocking and mimicking me. Even though I couldn’t understand every word, his behaviour and body language made it obvious, and it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. If I hadn’t already ordered and been hungry, I would have walked out immediately. The food was okay. The cotoletta was a bit oily but edible. I paid €39, which felt overpriced for the quality and the overall experience. I wouldn’t come back. There are plenty of better places nearby where visitors are made to feel welcome instead of uncomfortable.

We were spontaneously there after the Leonardo Science Museum.Right about 300m away by foot in summer heat we were so lucky to get a table for 4 in a not so spacious but well air-conditioned restaurant during lunch hour! We were fortunately all the way starting frm the friendliest waiters young and old that serve us (despite the crowd - it was full!) With personal charm and wits! We ordered classic Rissoto milanes with osso bucco, pasta clam and fresh curry prawn.so delicious and were served hot and fast! Its jus unbelievable! Of course at the end the bill reflects all the above mentioned but its well-worth!

On our recent trip to Italy, our last night was spent in Milan. We were exhausted and just looking for a nice resturant to have dinner before heading home the next morning. Another guest recommended Bele, which was close by our hotel. Fantastic choice! Mostly locals. Great food. I had a vegetarian pizza with eggplant and zucchini. Simple but delicious. House red wine was great. Unfortunately can't buy in the USA, we asked. Giuseppe "Joe" provided great service and fun engaging conversation. He made the evening memorable. Sweet treats were delicious too.

The food is decent, but depending on the dish you might get disappointed. We have spades fish that was absolutely delicious and that other marine mix where half of the items were tasteless..
