We didn’t speak good Italian but the staff were so nice and kind 🥺 They made us so comfortable and the food was amazing!! Also very affordable price!! Try octopus with potatoes and seafood pasta :) thanks for making our trip even nicer, will come back sometime!
Mixed feelings despite high ratings. The place was empty on a Thursday night, and Isola bustling with life. The staff is Asian, not speaking proper Italian or English, no biggie. They had either regular menu or fixed price menu, 25€ (antipasto, primo, seconfo, contorno) including water, cheapest you can find around for diner. Taste is ok, flavours are here, service is not pro, they didn't take the dirty plates between dishes , I needed to push them away. The pasta was swimming in sauce but flavored, the grilled fish was tasteless, it seemed washed with fresh water, and not grilled enough. The highlight was the warm seafood salad as an antipasto. That's it. I wouldn't take a date here or come for a business diner / lunch, but alone, for an ok cheap diner fine. There are way finer fish restaurants nearby if you are looking for refined food, without going above 40€ neither, here it is quantity over quality, not bad, but not outstanding neither
I had the best food experience in Milan here and can’t wait to go back ! The owners were very friendly and food is amazing too. Course menu highly recommended !
