Step into EKADEA Studio and let yourself be transported to an atmosphere that evokes traditional Japan: tatami mats, washi paper lamps, and period furnishings create a tranquil space in the heart of Milan.
In this three-hour workshop, you'll explore the art of ceramics through traditional freehand modeling techniques like pinching and coiling. With step-by-step guidance, you'll shape high-quality stoneware into creations that reflect your personality: a vase, a bowl, a candle holder, or a sculptural piece – each object will be as unique as you are.
The experience is inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and authenticity. No previous experience is needed: what matters is letting your hands and the material guide you.
In the second part of the workshop, you'll discover decoration techniques using natural colored earths, adding depth and character to the surface of your creations.
When you're done, your creations will be fired in our kiln and ready for pickup in about three weeks—or we can ship them directly to your home, wherever you are.
