Description
Explore the Milan headquarters of the Prada Foundation, designed by the OMA studio led by Rem Koolhaas. The campus was created by transforming an early 20th-century distillery, where former industrial buildings coexist with new architectural structures. Besides the exhibitions and temporary projects, the exhibition spaces host permanent installations by artists Thomas Demand and Robert Gober, in dialogue with works by Louise Bourgeois, Andreas Slominski, and director Jean-Luc Godard. The Atlas project showcases a selection of works by artists who are fundamental to the history of the Foundation, including Carla Accardi, Jeff Koons, Walter De Maria, Goshka Macuga, Betye Saar, Fischli/Weiss, John Baldessari, and Carsten Höller. The Milan location also includes a bookshop with a wide range of publications and Bar Luce, the iconic bar designed by director Wes Anderson. During opening hours, you can visit the exhibition presented at Osservatorio, the Prada Foundation's venue dedicated to experimenting with visual languages, located in one of the central buildings of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.Includes
