Description

Start the day with a pick-up at your hotel/apartment in Milan in a Mercedes sedan/minivan. Your private driver will take you to Lake Como where you will enjoy the scenic drive along the lake. You will then stop at the stunning Villa Balbianello and have time to visit on your own. The location on the banks of the lake is so beautiful that the villa has been used as filming location for Star Wars (Episode 2) and 007 Casino Royale. Please note that the villa is closed on Monday and Wednesday.  When closed, you may visit Villa Carlotta (or Villa Melzi), another beautiful villa on the waterfront, surrounded by lush botanical gardens.  After the visit to the villa, together with your driver, you will take the ferry-boat to Bellagio. The 20-minute crossing is nice and fun and will let you see the beautiful scenery with great photo opportunities from the water (your driver will take care of the schedule and buy the tickets that are included in the price of the tour).  You will reach the lovely town of Bellagio. Here you will have free time to explore on your own and have lunch (please note that the price of lunch is not included in the price but we will be happy to give you some restaurant suggestions and book a table for you).  After Bellagio you may extend the tour (optional at additional price) and continue to the charming town of Varenna. Here you will have free time to explore the pretty center and, if you wish, visit the magnificent Villa Monastero, another true gem of Lake Como. At the end of the day, you will meet again your driver and he will take you back to your hotel/apartment in Milan. At Villa Balbianello you will visit the beautiful gardens. If you wish to do the visit inside the old house you need to prebook in advance a guided tour at additional cost.
