A tour designed for those who want to immerse themselves in the history, art, and countless anecdotes hidden in the center of Milan. We begin our journey through time at Castello Sforzesco, discovering the timeless charm of one of the largest and best-preserved castles in Europe. Here, I will tell you all about the loves and intrigues of the Sforza family and reveal many interesting facts about the castle and its inner courtyards. After a stroll along Via Dante, we will arrive at the beautiful Piazza Mercanti: one of the most evocative and historic squares in Milan, located in the heart of the city center, a few steps from the Duomo. In the Middle Ages, it was the center of the city's economic and political life, and poor merchants often found themselves literally left without their pants in this historic place (I can't tell you any more!). Passing by other interesting spots in the city center, we will arrive at Piazza della Scala: we will admire the theater from the outside, and I will tell you how the nobles did everything in the theater boxes in the 1700s. They slept, ate, organized romantic encounters, and...you will find out during the tour! We will then discover all the secrets of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with its beautiful mosaics and iconic floors: will you also step on the poor bull in the gallery? Finally, we will arrive at Piazza Duomo: here I will tell you why its construction took 500 years, about when picnics were organized on its terraces, and how the golden Madonnina protects the city from the top of the Duomo's main spire!
