Description
The tour begins at Castello Sforzesco, a key Milanese landmark housing cultural institutions. You will then cross Parco Sempione to see the Arco della Pace, a neoclassical monument, and La Triennale, an exhibition center for art, design, and architecture.
Next, visit the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, Milan’s patron saint church. Continue to the Navigli district, known for its network of navigable canals and the Darsena, the city’s historic mercantile port. Explore Piazza XXIV Maggio and the Porta Ticinese in the Ticinese district, an area rich in historic churches like Sant’Eustorgio and San Lorenzo, as well as fashion and urban culture.
The tour continues to Piazza della Scala, featuring Palazzo Marino and the Teatro alla Scala opera house. Afterwards, see Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II before arriving at Piazza Duomo and Milan Cathedral. The tour concludes in the artistic Brera district.
