Description
Step through the door of EKADEA Studio and be transported to an atmosphere that evokes traditional Japan: tatami mats, washi paper lamps, and period furnishings create a tranquil space in the heart of Milan.
In this three-hour workshop, you will explore the art of ceramics through traditional freehand modeling techniques such as pizzicato and colombino. Guided step by step, you'll shape the high-quality stoneware, creating pieces that reflect your personality: a vase, a bowl, a candle holder, or a sculptural piece — each object will be as unique as you are.
The experience is inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and authenticity. No prior experience is needed: what matters is letting your hands and the material guide you.
In the second part of the workshop, you will discover decoration techniques using natural colored clays, adding depth and character to the surface of your creations.
At the end, your pieces will be fired in our kiln and will be ready for pick-up after about three weeks — or we can ship them directly to your home, wherever you are.
