Visit Enrico Rizzi's Fabbrica del Cioccolato, located minutes from Milan Cathedral, to explore an artisanal bean-to-bar workshop. Discover how cocoa beans are roasted, refined, and packaged in a small-scale production.
The tour begins in the sensory room with a 360° virtual reality video showcasing cocoa harvesting, fermentation, and drying on a plantation in Peru. The experience is available in Italian, English, German, French, and Spanish.
Next, walk through the roasting room and the chocolate library, where controlled temperature and humidity help refine chocolates with spices, tea, and infusions. Finally, observe the workshop area where cocoa beans are processed through skin separation and slow stone grinding lasting up to 80 hours.
The visit ends with a guided tasting of three to five grand cru chocolates, depending on the ticket type chosen.
