Description
The tour begins at Colonne di San Lorenzo, a central nightlife hub featuring Roman ruins and alternative shops. These columns represent Milan’s most visible and well-preserved Roman heritage.
Opposite the columns stands the Basilica of San Lorenzo, once the largest Christian monument in the West and an early example of central-plan architecture.
From there, the route follows Corso di Porta Ticinese, a historic street linking ancient and modern Milan. Along the way, you'll pass the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio, notable for its 73-meter-tall bell tower and important relics.
The tour continues to Porta Ticinese and into the Navigli district. This area features historic canals partly designed by Leonardo da Vinci, integral to Milan’s economic history and cultural fabric.
