The Duomo is Milan’s iconic cathedral, the third-largest Catholic cathedral worldwide. Measuring 157 meters long, it can accommodate 40,000 people.
Your tour starts at the main central gate, where you meet your English-speaking guide for a brief introduction to the cathedral’s history. Afterward, skip the lines and take an elevator to the first terrace. From there, you climb 50 steps to reach the highest terrace.
The Duomo features over 3,200 statues and 135 spires, best appreciated from above. The rooftop provides close-up views of the pinnacles and sculptures, along with a skyline panorama. On clear days, you can see the Alps.
