This tour offers an easy and comprehensive way to experience Lake Como, including an exclusive stop at Bellano Gorge that most other tours omit. Travel by train from Milan through picturesque villages and lake landscapes, followed by boat cruises with expert local commentary.
The day starts at Milan central station, boarding a train along Lake Como’s eastern shore. The journey avoids traffic and buses, allowing uninterrupted views of mountains and lakeside villages as you settle in.
Your first stop is Varenna, a lakeside village known for its colorful waterfront and peaceful walking paths. You will have approximately 1.5 hours to explore at leisure, enjoying the reflections and natural light.
Next is Bellagio, the popular Lake Como destination with narrow streets, panoramic viewpoints, and a historic center. You will have around two hours here to walk, have lunch, or relax with a coffee overlooking the water.
From Bellagio, the tour continues by boat toward Bellano. Along the cruise, you will pass elegant villas and terraced gardens while your guide shares local history.
