Description

Casa di Alessio is in the Cimiano neighborhood, a quiet residential area in Milan just 7 minutes from the metro green line. Alessio opens his lived-in apartment to small groups a few evenings a week for an informal cooking and dining experience.

This is not a typical class. There is no pressure or performance—just sharing food as it’s meant to be in a home setting.

The Evening

The experience lasts about 3 hours, typically from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with flexibility to extend depending on the group’s pace. Guests are welcomed with prosecco or soft drinks to relax and connect.

The cooking begins with tiramisù, prepared first to allow proper resting time. The main course is fresh handmade ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, dressed with butter and sage. Guests can participate hands-on or observe at their comfort level.

While cooking, Alessio shares insights about Milanese food culture and local life, encouraging natural conversation not found in restaurants. Around 8:30 PM, the group sits to enjoy the meal with wine served throughout, alongside water and soft drinks.

The evening concludes with the tiramisù and coffee. Guests typically leave feeling full, relaxed, and connected with others at the table.
