Description
Begin your 3.5-hour tour at Sforza Castle, where a local guide will provide historical commentary. Cycle to the Arco della Pace (Peace Arch), the medieval church of Saint Ambrose, Roman Columns, and the Canals downtown. Return to the city center to see the stock exchange, Piazza della Scala with Teatro alla Scala (Scala Opera House), and Palazzo Marino.
Continue to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza del Duomo, where you will explore Milan’s cathedral and surrounding monuments. The guide can assist with photographs in front of the cathedral. The tour then proceeds to Piazza Mercanti and the Brera district, visiting the courtyard of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and learning about Palazzo Brera and the district's artistic history.
