Description
On the most unsettling night of the year, Milan shows a different side of itself: dark, fascinating, full of shadows and secrets. Under a dark sky, we will walk among the places that were the scene of burnings, torture, and witchcraft trials. In a time when Church and State shared power, fear was an instrument of domination.
We will retrace one of the darkest chapters in the history of Milan: the plague of 1620 as told by Manzoni, the burnings of the plague spreaders, and the cries from the Porta Ticinese Lazaretto. We will talk about the 'magic of the barbers', linked to the Sforza family, and the superstitions that haunted the now fashionable neighborhoods.
An engaging tour through documented history and popular legend, to rediscover the most disturbing and hidden side of Milan. Perfect for those who love intense stories and the thrills of Halloween night.
