Wonderful stay, very pleasant vibe and impeccable service! Also, great location - literally, 5-minute (leisure) walk to the Duomo and a 3-minute walk to the Misori (Yellow line) Metro station. Room was indeed a bit old-fashioned (dated), but very spacious and comfortable! Very good breakfast. In short: highly recommended
The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, you could walk to all the major attractions and the cadorna train station. The service was also good - the staff we met were all quite friendly. When we first checked in there was a jolly old man who helped us take our luggage and enthusiastically introduced the room (albeit we struggled to understand him at times due to his limited English) but it was a great start to our stay. The minibar was also replenished everyday and all the food and drinks were free. However, it is obvious that this hotel is quite old as some amenities, such as the hairdryer inserted below, look like they've come from the last century. It's not that obvious in the photo but the hairdryer was all yellow, gross and took absolutely forever to dry my hair. Furthermore, the safe in our room wasn't working and the cleaniness of the room was also questionable, but overall I can recommend this hotel for a short stay.
Good walkable location but not really what one expects of a 4star hotel. Decor is inconsistent and odd—weird drawers that only open 3 inches before hitting a doorframe, drapes that don’t fit, and so many random decorative elements and styles. Breakfast was good with lots of variety and people were nice—the front desk always knew us and offered good advice. The decor gave us plenty of laughs because it was just so odd.
The location of this hotel is fantastic if you’re staying in Milan. You’re within walking distance of all the main attractions in the core, including just a five-minute walk to Piazza del Duomo. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I speak and understand Italian, but it’s worth noting that the staff also speak English quite well. Makes the experience even more comfortable for international travellers. The included breakfast was excellent. A great way to start the day. I also appreciated that they didn’t rush guests. One morning I arrived a bit later and there was no pressure at all, which was greatly appreciated. While the rooms are slightly dated, they are still very comfortable and most importantly clean. I had no complaints whatsoever. Overall, I would absolutely consider staying here again on a future trip to Milan and would recommend it to others visiting the city.
The location was outstanding. The room was spacious with good amenities. The breakfast was very good. The service was also very good. The receptionists were generally good and helpful but some were not, they acted like they were too busy and annoyed at having to answer questions. That was the only non-perfect thing that we experienced in the hotel.
