The customer service and responsiveness of the staff to requests was top notch. The breakfast, which was included, was excellent and definitely a highlight. The room design was a bit unusual as the shower was completely separate from the bathroom and open to the room, so might be an issue for some people. The hotel is also a bit too far to easily walk to the Duomo and other shopping districts in the center of the city, but there is a metro station directly in front of the hotel and it was only 2 stops to get close to that area
I was a little nervous about the decor as I typically lean toward a modern, clean lines kind of vibe but it was very charming and the 9 yo girl in me was smiling. In person, it’s quite elegant. The service is amazing! Make sure to have a drink or tea in the lounge area. The snacks they serve with the drinks are absolutely delicious. I also loved that it was located right next to the M4 train. So I was able to navigate from MXP airport directly to their door step. The walk to main shopping was about 10 minutes which I enjoyed. We did dine in the main restaurant based off how amazing all the snacks were in the lobby. It was good and an experience. You could take it or leave it though. Anyways, excellent experience overall!
Château Monfort is a beautiful and elegant hotel in a great location, within good walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself is stunning, with stylish interiors and a luxurious atmosphere throughout. What really made the stay special was the staff and level of customer service. Everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive — no job felt too big or too small. The team genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary during the stay, and the hotel kindly treated us to a bottle of champagne, which was a lovely touch and made the occasion feel even more special. The spa is also brilliant and was the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the city. Overall, a fantastic hotel experience that I would highly recommend, and I would definitely go back.
What a fantastic hotel. I booked Chateau Monfort because it has a complimentary underground spa. We had stayed at a hotel in Rome with an underground spa and loved it so much I’d been on the search for another since. When booking I was weary of the whimsical theme apparent in the hotel but upon arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at how well it was executed. Our room was spacious with high ceilings with a well designed bathroom. I have to be honest, I haven’t stayed at a hotel with turn down service in a while it was so nice to have it! The underground spa was beautiful and private. The breakfast was just perfect with an abundant selection and super attentive staff. The dining room is so whimsical, it could be my favorite. When checking out, the front desk staff went over the bill with me, he specifically told me about a line item for tip that goes directly to all the service staff, it was not compulsory and he could remove it if I want. I had read a few complaints about this prior to booking so knew about it. Honestly, the staff and the entire stay was so perfect it was a pleasure to be able to leave a tip for all since I did not tip individually. Had a perfect stay and hope to be back.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Château Monfort for three days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptional not only for us, but for our dog as well, who was thoughtfully greeted with a special gift. That level of attention to detail immediately set the tone for our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt like a treat. We also took full advantage of the spa and enjoyed a wonderful massage with Claudia, which was incredibly relaxing and one of the highlights of our visit. The location made it so easy to explore the city, yet the hotel itself felt like a peaceful retreat we honestly didn’t want to leave. What made the experience even more special was the staff: from the front desk to the bartender to the bellman, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We cannot wait to return.
