A great night at Rita, a bar with that cool, classy, New York-style bar energy rather than anything fussy or overdone. The cocktails are clearly well-crafted, with thoughtful garnishes and several individual creations that show real character behind the bar. The cured meat selection paired perfectly with the drinks. What really makes the place is the atmosphere: lively, warm, with bartenders cheering every time they get a tip, a small touch that makes the whole room feel like it's in on the fun.
Absolutely wonderful bar tucked away from the noise and the crowds. (I'd recommend walking through the two big parks nearby—if it's light out—to get there instead of down the horrible Las Vegas strip that is Porta Ticinese.) They have an inventive cocktail menu that changes every year. The space itself inside is wonderfully designed, warm with great lighting. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the mixologists doing their thing, and appreciated how clean they kept their bar. Drinks were delicious... We ordered our first ones off the menu and our second ones. We gave free reign to the bartenders and they did a wonderful job with our drinks. We enjoyed chatting with them too; very kind and welcoming. Another reviewer Mentioned he brings all his dates to his bar, and I can see why— I would too. The vibes are great, and the music was wonderful the whole time.
We visited Rita & Cocktails in the Navigli area and had a great experience. The atmosphere is lively but relaxed, exactly what you want in Navigli, with a cool, authentic vibe that feels local rather than touristy. Cocktails were excellent, well balanced, creative, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell this is a place that takes cocktails seriously, without being pretentious. Service was friendly and efficient, even though the place was busy. A perfect spot for drinks in Navigli, whether you’re starting your night or just enjoying the area. Highly recommended if you’re looking for proper cocktails in a great Milanese setting.
I found this place while hunting for bars with good non-alcoholic cocktails and, being pescatarian-with-a-soft-spot-for anything green, it immediately caught my eye. But honestly, it was a Google photo of a cocktail called “Stalker” that made me click “reserve” — sadly, it wasn’t on the menu, and I didn’t feel like asking for a legendary drink that may or may not exist. I promptly made my reservation, which included fields for allergies and dietary preferences — extremely handy for someone like me, who apparently collects food restrictions like badges of honor. Arriving early, I was greeted warmly and instantly felt at ease. Vegetarian options were limited, but the ZUCCHINI CROQUETTES? Divine. I briefly considered giving up my pescatarian ways — briefly. And the non-alcoholic cocktails? After a tiny interrogation about my preferences, they produced a bitter mocktail that was nothing short of brilliant. Having spent 15 years as a barmaid and bar manager, I can confidently say that most mocktails I’ve been served were glorified juice with attitude. This one? A masterpiece. Watching the preparation and decoration unfold was like witnessing art in motion — I may have nodded in quiet, judgmental approval. Staff? Absolutely lovely. Experience? Delightful. I’ll definitely be back. Only regret: not practicing my Italian. Next time, I’ll actually try instead of mumbling it like a polite ghost.
