Had a wonderful stay in the large suite at the Santa Marta located in central Milan. We were at the separate suite located off site from the hotel in a private building and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Located just around the corner from the hotel it has two bathrooms, a sitting room, king sized bed and small kitchenette. The room was lovely and the area is quiet and centrally located. We had breakfast and coffee every morning at the El Canton Cafe located just steps from the front door in a charming courtyard. The hotel service was great and we appreciate the recommendations from Peyman at reception with finding the best shopping, dining and sightseeing. It has been quite sometime since our last visit to Milan and we appreciated his help navigating Milan in 2026. Our only complaint was the hotel pillows. They were a bit too stiff for our tastes. Everything else was just fabulous.
Excellent location. Very welcoming staff. Room very well presented, comfortable and clean. Quiet location. Close to most major attractions - all easy walking distance. Great advice from Peyman on all local eateries and places of interest. Highly recommended.
Incredible small boutique-like hotel. We arrived in Milano at 5am (American Airlines changed our flight) we stored our luggage and toured the city. We were able to check-in at noon. The room was huge, great spacious bathroom and wonderful amenities! The front desk staff was over the top friendly and helpful.
My partner & I stayed here over Christmas 2025 and would absolutely stay again! The hotel is very charming and within walking distance to attractions, while not being directly in the hustle & bustle. Peyman (guest services associate) is phenomenal! He happily called around to make reservations and arrangements for us during our stay, shared excellent recommendations, and was incredibly friendly.
Mainly stayed here due to lack of better immediate options (squeezed between the Olympics and Fashion week). Room is large, spacious, and quite pretty - but very non functional. Bathroom has a barely working smart mirror (more frustrating than it sounds), and an odd layout with a very small shower and toilet. I would say also it is in a quite noisy alleyway with a few nearby bars. Pillows and bed are incredibly uncomfortable. For the price...it's not a great deal at all, but Milan does seem quite expensive in general. Elevator seems to have frequent issues (we were mostly lucky in this regard). Building (not the hotel) seemed to have an ambient propane smell at times when you opened the window. As a room, it is a 3 star hotel at best. Service is good - they seem to have a large team of rotating staff. Shout out to Peyman for some awesome suggestions. Location is the highlight - walking distance to all sorts of shopping, Duomo, etc. Probably would not stay here again though (again, unless lacking in options).
