This was a great little hotel in the middle of Milan. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room modern, well appointed and clean. There was even a complimentary mini bar with water and soft drinks. The beds were very comfortable and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. There is a good sized TV in the room showing mostly Italian and German channels with a couple of English speaking news ones. The included breakfast was very good, with a good variety of hot and cold options, and a nice open area in which to eat it. Overall we loved our stay here and will come back again for sure Almost forget to mention that there was a complimentary free alcoholic drink at the bar
The hotel is located in the heart of Milan — within walking distance of all the main attractions and the central station. There is a convenient luggage storage option after check-out. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with plenty of toiletries and a complimentary mini-bar. Breakfast is varied and delicious. A wonderful bonus was the first complimentary cocktail at the bar every evening. The bartender is very helpful in suggesting drinks and makes them perfectly. Special thanks to the staff — they are incredibly friendly and ready to help with any request. It’s the staff who truly create an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend!
Excellent location, but not more than that. We were disappointed, given the overwhelmingly good reviews on this website. The suite was spacious but not well furnished. The bed and sheets were of low quality. Breakfast offerings were basic. The staff was helpful with our requests (extra pillow and AC adjustment), but we expected more from a hotel that charges such high rates for a stay. Important to note that it is impossible to properly park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage, and the parking the hotel indicates, with a small discount, is a 7-minute walk from the property.
Wife and I booked a room here at the last minute during the Olympics. Marvelous place! Cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in in my life! Spotless - cleaner than the bathroom at my house (and that's saying something). And the staff was incredible. They bent over backwards to help us with everything we needed including a last-minute extra night stay where they were able to move us to a single room (that was plenty big enough for both of us), and they even moved all our luggage for us while we were out. Huge breakfast with tons of options, too. Located right in the middle of everything, so super-convenient. We will DEFINITELY stay here again next time we're in Milano.
Perfect stay in the heart of Milan. We stayed in the La Scala Suite at Hotel Milano Castello for two nights in July 2025 and absolutely loved the experience. The suite was incredibly spacious, and the large private balcony made the stay feel even more special. The hotel’s complimentary evening drinks and snacks were a wonderful touch. We especially enjoyed the Aperol Spritz during aperitivo time. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of fresh and high quality options to start the day. The location is outstanding. The hotel is about a five minute walk from Duomo Milano, making it very easy to explore the city. Starbucks Reserve Roastery is also very close by. There are countless food, dessert, and coffee options in the neighborhood, including Venchi gelato, spun tiramisu spots, and All'Antico Vinaio, famous for its schiacciata sandwiches. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was smooth and comfortable from check in to check out. No complaints at all. Highly recommended.
