Global Blue was way better than expected! It’s tucked away and feels almost secretive, with a guard outside on the street only letting people in if they have the special sticker from certain stores. Our sticker was from Louis Vuitton, and once inside the staff was incredibly helpful. She walked us through everything step by step and made sure we understood exactly what to do next. Bonus surprise: they processed our Ferrari VAT refund even though Ferrari hadn’t given us the sticker. Timing really mattered. When we arrived there was no line, but by the time we left it was packed, so we definitely lucked out. We were also worried because Milan wasn’t our final European city before flying back to the US, but they still processed everything correctly and it worked perfectly at the Milan airport. A little stressful going in, very smooth coming out. If you’re doing VAT refunds, this place is legit.
