Backdoor 43
Milan
Reseñas
Backdoor 43 is officially one of the smallest cocktail bars in the world, and it really feels like it. The restroom is bigger than the bar itself. When you reserve a timeslot, the bar is essentially yours for that period. You can adjust the music and lighting, and you have a private, highly skilled mixologist creating drinks just for you. We started with a cocktail from the menu, and for the second round we simply described what we liked. With just a few keywords, the bartender created two completely different cocktails, both excellent. It is a unique and memorable experience. Make sure to book in advance, as it is very limited in capacity.
The Rabbit Hole (Shakespeare) in Navigli -The place: Located in the canal area, we sat on the terrace. It’s a great spot to soak in the atmosphere while enjoying a round of drinks. -The Sip: We tried four different cocktails and all of them were delicious. Each drink had a very distinct "signature" touch that made them stand out. -The Style: High-quality signature creations. You can tell there is a lot of thought behind the flavors, making it a great choice for those looking for something unique. -Vibe: Relaxed and enjoyable outside, especially on the outdoor terrace. It’s a solid find in a busy area. Quick Stats: -Average price: €10–€13 per cocktail. -Menu design: Simple; it lists the ingredients but lacks details on flavor profiles or glassware—there's definitely room for improvement here. -Appetisers: None served. -Water: Not provided.
Came here for the second time in a week. Love the cozy atmosphere and the whiskey bar vibes. The bartenders have been great coming up with custom drinks to match our tastes. Would come here any time we’re in Milan. You must make a reservation, but it’s worth it.
I was luckily to get a chance to enter the bar that my friend from Singapore make a reservation, Jacopo was a fantastic host for that night, even offer me a cigarette from a fancy cigarette holder and thier family amaro that taste to good! Dennis from Koh Samui. 🙏😁 🇹🇭
Atmosphere: 8/10 Backdoor 43 is one of Milan’s most unusual concepts. You get your own private room for an hour, with full control over the music and a setup that feels like a tiny living room surrounded by whiskey bottles. The intimacy can be a bit awkward for introverts since the bartender is part of your experience the entire time, so the usual social energy of a bar isn’t really present. The whole room functions as the backbar, and seating is fully private. Located along the canal next to MAG Café, the setting outside is vibrant and lively. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: BananaVardier The menu is very creative in design with a broad selection. Drinks are good in flavor and balance. Presentation is basic overall, with average glassware, simple garnishes, and straightforward ice. Coasters are nice. Service: 9/10 Service is essentially one-to-one with your personal bartender, making it extremely attentive. Water is provided on arrival. The bartender is both professional and very friendly. Reservations are mandatory, and pricing is average.
