Hotel room was beautiful and in a great location, but I really want to highlight Kiara. Her exceptional service and personality made our stay one that we won’t forget. She took her time and wrote out suggestions for restaurants and shopping. And every recommendation was a hit. She was kind, patient, and thorough when answering any additional questions and concerns we had. Kiara is certainly a model employee and I hope that Milano Verticale recognizes her for representing their hotel well.

The hotel itself is excellent. The location is perfect, our Junior Suite was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The room was clean, the facilities were well maintained, and once I was finally checked in, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. However, it’s just that the check-in experience was unexpectedly stressful. I presented my valid Italian residence permit (permesso di soggiorno), but one receptionist, Federico, informed me that it was not sufficient and insisted that I first obtain authorization from the Questura di Milano before the hotel could accommodate me. The nearest Questura (Via Fatebenefratelli), is ~20min. by foot. I also offered to provide a digital copy of my passport, but this was not accepted by Federico either. Trusting the information I had been given, I made the round trip to the Questura and returned to the hotel. Upon my return, a different receptionist, she was the loveliest by the way, seemed genuinely surprised that I had been sent to the Questura at all and was able to complete my check-in. I am still unsure whether this resulted from a misunderstanding of the hotel’s procedures or an incorrect interpretation of the identification requirements…or Federico just had a bad day (which we all do, I completely understand) and I’m just the “lucky one” that day. Either way, I hope the hotel clarifies its check-in process so that future guests, particularly immigrants in Italy with a valid permesso di soggiorno, do not have to spend part of their stay making a round-trip to the Questura. Despite this unfortunate start, the hotel itself was wonderful, which is why I am still happy to give it four stars and would still recommend to friends visiting Milan.

A gem if a hotel- non so hidden yet rather understated. Ideal location if you want to live like successful local: Brera, Cso Como, cool young Cinatown, skyscrapers, Eataly, great restos, both city parks - all in 2 to 10 minutes beautiful walk and no “city center” hustle. Quiet, modern, comfortable, great rooms, fresh facilities. And above all - hospitality that’s more than service. We had an intricate itinerary and needed to modify in a way booking and honestly left little hope to succeed. Viviana at the front desk resolved while me and my travel companion literally had a glass of water, no additional questions. A grand hotel level of savior fare. Recommend 100%

I have stayed in Milan many times over the past few years, and I can honestly say that Milano Verticale and the wider UNA team continue to set the benchmark for hospitality. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, impeccably clean, and perfectly located for both business and leisure. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and offer excellent comfort after a long working day. What truly distinguishes this property, however, is the people. A special thank you to Francesco, Lyuba, Cristina and Anna, who consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel genuinely welcome. Their professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail and personal care are exceptional. During my recent stay, every request was handled promptly and with a smile, from room preferences and early arrival arrangements to ensuring complete comfort throughout my stay. It is rare to find a team that follows up proactively simply to make sure everything is perfect. As someone who has spent considerable time in Milan for work, I can confidently say that Milano Verticale feels less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. Highly recommended for both business travellers and families visiting Milan. I look forward to returning again soon.

A genuinely recommended hotel. The location is incredibly central—only about a 30-minute walk to the Duomo Cathedral. There’s also a Metro Line 2 station within walking distance, which is very convenient. This is the line you need if you’re traveling from Linate Airport—you simply transfer from Metro 2 to Metro 4, which takes you directly to the airport. Ideal if you’re traveling with just hand luggage and want to avoid spending money on taxis. When we arrived, we were too early to check in, but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. When we returned in the afternoon, we received a complimentary room upgrade during check-in without even asking—such a kind gesture! The room was beautiful: clean, spacious, and the bathroom was also very large. We even had a balcony, which made the stay extra enjoyable. I truly appreciated how central the hotel is. It allowed us to see and do a lot without extra costs for transportation. I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I visit Milan.
