I work in the area, and almost every day I try a nearby café for breakfast/coffee with colleagues/etc. The desserts are good (they're Knam), and the coffee is probably the best in the area. But that's not what makes the difference. What makes it my favorite café is the service: the staff is really friendly, they remember your usual order, and they always welcome you with a smile and a kind word, helping you get even the worst days off to a good start. Thanks guys!

Kudos to the two baristas on duty this morning: welcoming, fast, and meticulously clean. They remembered the orders of all the regulars around me and created a lovely, positive energy, which isn't always a given this early in the morning. Plus, they had a new vegan Nutella croissant, which I hope they keep because it's delicious and you can't find it anywhere else.
