The room is ok, but in a hotel og this standart I expect the mirrors to be clean and no wires sticking out of the walls. We made the mistake in the name on the booking which at first was no trouble, but we felt like a burden once the room was ready for us, because it was difficult, when they couldn't find the name. The location is perfect. We hope breakfast is as good as people say and that our stay here will be pleasant.
We did not say this hotel but I just had to write a review about the experience we had yesterday. Our family was enjoying a day of sight seeing when suddenly our daughter wasn’t feeling well. We couldn’t find a place to sit down let alone find a restroom. After walking around in circles for a bit we decided to see if their concierge could call us a taxi back to our hotel. The bellman and concierge couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were so pleasant and so helpful, insisting that we take a seat while the taxi arrived. The lobby is beautiful but more importantly, the staff was outstanding. I will definitely stay here the next time we visit as they treat everyone (guest or not) with the utmost respect and kindness.
Hotel is super nice!! The only issue is the size of the rooms. Not much space for luggage, especially if your taking a long trip with family and friends. Check pricing on laundry services.
I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall my stay was very nice here. The rooms were not "outdated", i rather call it vintage. It gave a cozy italian vibe and I had everything I needed. There was a mini fridge that was filled with cold drinks, a tv, water cooker with coffee and tea, and the bathroom was nice as well. The beds were comfortable and there were clean sheets and towels every day, they also gave free water every time they cleaned the room. There was some noise outside but I didn't mind that, I slept very well. There was also a pool, but I expected it to not be so cold, it was too cold to go fully into the water. Even though it was 18°C outside and pool had a glass roof over it, it was too cold to go swim. I expected the water to be a bit warm at this time of the year but it wasn't. But it was nice to lay by the pool and relax since it was warm on the terrace. I also ordered room service on the last evening of my stay and there were very kind and fast to deliver it to my room. I had the spaghetti ragou and a bottle of wine, all of it was tasty and not too pricey. Breakfast had a lot of options (and you could also ask for breakfast in your room) and I especially loved the pastries and fresh juice. They also had gluten free crackers and cake that my mom could eat for her gluten allergy. The hotel is located very close to Galleria vittorio emanuele II and Duomo di Milano and the shopping stores. The staff was very kind and attentive, I will definitely recommend this hotel to other people!
I come to Milan twice a year for Fashion Week, and I stay at this hotel year after year. It has truly become like a second home. The staff are exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, which makes every stay feel comfortable and familiar. The location is ideal for both work and pleasure — conveniently close to the Duomo, excellent shopping, and some of the best restaurants in the city. Even the hotel restaurant is excellent, which is a rare and very appreciated bonus during busy work trips. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Milan. Highly recommended.
