Wonderful Stay! We enjoyed every moment there. Rooms were spacious and tastefully designed while the restaurant Mandarin Garden exceeded our expectations (The focaccia was phenomenal !). Most importantly the whole team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would like to highlight Maria Vitoria, who checked us in, as well as Andrea at the restaurant and Giacomo at concierge. They really helped elevate our experience with their attentive service and local expertise. We will definitely be back!! ♡
I travel extensively and stay almost exclusively at ultra luxury properties around the world, so my expectations are extremely high when it comes to service, communication, and attention to detail. The Mandarin Oriental Milan absolutely delivered. From the moment we arrived, the service felt personal, thoughtful, and genuine rather than scripted or corporate. Emma Sticca, the Director of Guest Experience, was exceptional throughout the stay. Every recommendation she gave us was spot on, from restaurants to local suggestions, and you could tell the guidance came from actual experience rather than a generic concierge list. One restaurant recommendation in particular, Bacaro, ended up being one of the best meals we had during the trip. What stood out most was the consistency. The team was proactive, responsive, warm, and always willing to help without making things feel transactional or forced. Even small things were handled with care and urgency. Luxury hotels are easy to build physically. Creating a team and culture that consistently delivers high level hospitality is much harder. The Mandarin Oriental Milan and Emma truly understand that difference. One of the best hotel experiences we have had in Europe and absolutely a property we will return to.
It's a MO. Rooms were in top shape. Service was excellent by name after the first day. While I only had time for breakfast, the pastries especially were fantastic. Location is extremely convenient to La Scala and the shopping street. Plenty of parking and chargers for EVs.
We had a fantastic experience at Mandarin Oriental Milan. We arrived from another beautiful hotel in Italy, but the service here was truly a level above. From the moment we stepped in, everything was handled with exceptional timeliness, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Check-in, luggage assistance, taxis, breakfast, every interaction was smooth, efficient, and done with a smile. What really stood out was that we never had to remind anyone of a request; everything was anticipated and taken care of seamlessly. The small touches made a big difference. Housekeeping would place a bookmark on the exact page of the book I was reading, neatly organize personal items in a thoughtful way, and even leave used water bottles by the bedside to avoid waste. Everything felt intentional and well thought through. Easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.
