My family and I had a delightful stay at Hotel Berna in Milan. The overall experience was exceptional. The staff was particularly impressive. They were friendly, professional, and always eager to assist us. The hotel’s location is convenient, as it’s close to the Metro and Milano Centrale. This makes it easy to travel throughout Milan and the surrounding city. In conclusion, I highly recommend Hotel Berna for its warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and high-quality service.
I booked room in Annex, the receptionist was extremely polite and explained that the room was recently renovated - by the look of it I can confirm that the design looks quite modern and nice. The location is perfect. Very convenient from metro or train station, many cafes nearby. The annex had elevator and despite this luxury, the staff helped me with carrying my luggage over to the room which was greatly appreciated. I have not booked breakfast so cannot comment on that. The bathroom was big, yet few things bothered me, hence I removed 1 star: first, the shower is curtains only, so naturally all the water spilled out; second, there are two shower gel bottles and one would expect one of these bottles to be with shampoo - I believe that was misplaced by the staff and can be quickly fixed :)
Nice hotel with a very good location only a few minutes away from the metro and train terminal. The rooms were dated and could really use a renovation. While old, the rooms were fairly clean and spacious. The staff were very kind and offered great recommendations and advice for local restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great selection and the food was delicious.
We "escaped" from a horrible hotel in Milan to the Hotel Berna for out last night in Milan. We originally wanted to book the Berna for our entire stay but due to lack of availability we booked somewhere else. Horrible mistake. I cried tears of joy when we checked in to the Hotel Berna. The front desk clerk (Niko?) was wonderful. The bartender was wonderful. The location was perfect. But most of all, our room was so comfortable and quiet, and it had a ceiling fan!! We always wonder why hotel rooms don't have ceiling fans and this one did! Just an added surprise. I highly recommended. And don't believe the stories on social media about staying close to the central train station - they just aren't true. We loved the location and the convenience to the station and there were wonderful restaurants all within a block or two.
Very delighted with this find! Super welcoming front desk. Abdel was so helpful getting a travel-tired couple checked in quickly which allowed us a few hours of rest before hitting the sights. Excellent king room with great rainwater shower and surprising quiet courtyard, allowing us to open the windows for the evening breeze. Breakfast was phenomenal! Lots of choices and great service. The hotel is located just a short walk from Milano Central Station and has several great authentic restaurants just minutes away. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Milan 👍
