Reviews
Great location — the Duomo di Milano is only about a 12-minute walk away. The shared rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view of the Duomo and is a lovely spot to relax. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I stayed in June during a heatwave, and the room remained pleasantly cool throughout my stay. There’s also a café downstairs, which is convenient for breakfast or a quick coffee. The only downside is that the kitchenette is quite small. It wasn't an issue for my short stay, but it could be a bit inconvenient for longer stays if you plan to cook regularly. Overall, a very comfortable and well-located place that I would happily recommend.
Very nice and spacious rooms. Balcony, fridge and A/C. Good istructions before arrival. Very good bed for sleep. Nice cafe for breakfast downstairs. Terrace on top floor.
This was our second stay with Bob W Hotels—our first was in Rome, and this time we stayed in Milan. The biggest drawbacks were the air conditioning and the bathroom. The air conditioning appears to be centrally controlled, and in the evenings the bedroom became extremely hot with no way to cool it down, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom was an even bigger issue. The shower drain was not draining properly, causing water to overflow into the living area. We contacted the team daily about the problem. Someone was sent on the first day, but the issue was never actually fixed. When I followed up, I was told someone would return the next day to repair it. Unfortunately, four days later, no one ever came back. As a result, the bathroom flooded repeatedly, even with minimal water usage and short showers. On the positive side, the location is fantastic. The hotel is connected to a wonderful bakery with excellent coffee and pastries, and it is within walking distance of major landmarks, designer shopping, and numerous restaurants. Everything was convenient and easy to reach. Overall, the location is excellent and was the highlight of our stay. However, the combination of an overheated bedroom and a persistently flooded bathroom significantly impacted our experience.
The rooms are quite spacious, and since the property is new, everything looks modern and new. Each room has a washing machine, as well as a small kitchen and a balcony, which is convenient especially for stays of a few days. However, I would recommend booking this place knowing that it does not operate like a traditional hotel. There is no daily housekeeping service, and if you request room cleaning, you are charged 35 Euros each time. Communication is handled entirely through WhatsApp, and there is usually no receptionist or staff member you can directly speak to on-site. There are also no slippers in the rooms, so I would recommend bringing your own. Towels are provided in the room initially, but if you need fresh towels later, you have to take them yourself from a shared area. Since the system depends entirely on other guests’ usage, towels can run out quite quickly. Another issue for us was privacy and the feeling of security. Because there is rarely any staff around, we assumed nobody would enter the room. However, after requesting an iron, we noticed that someone had entered our room and left it there while we were out, without informing us beforehand. I understand this was done to help us, but entering the room without prior notice honestly made us uncomfortable. My suggestion to the hotel would be to provide at least disposable slippers in the rooms, have a staff member available during check-in hours, and make sure guests are informed before anyone enters their room. Small details like these would significantly improve the guest experience. Overall, this place feels more like a serviced apartment than a traditional hotel. If you adjust your expectations accordingly, you will probably enjoy your stay more.
