We stayed for 30 minutes while I booked another hotel. See photos. “The stains are part of the decoration” a quote when I explained why I was leaving. No refund given.

I waited an hour and fifteen minutes to get checked into a room. This “hotel” is not staffed. I booked this hotel on AAdvantage Hotels. I arrived around 4:15pm and attempted to use a call box to be buzzed into the building. No one answered or the volume was too low on the box. I couldn’t hear a thing. I waited outside in the sun. About 15 minutes later, someone walked out of the door of this large office building and I slipped in. I went to the third floor to find the entrance to the hotel. Another keypad. I called both numbers on the plaque several times with no answer, so I called AAdvantage Hotels. I was on the phone with them for 30 minutes and they could not contact the hotel. My phone was dying and cell service in the hallway wasn’t good. I was abut panicked, but AAdvantage hotels emailed the hotel and gave them 30 minutes to arrive. A guest walked of the door out and allowed me to walk inside the hotel. There’s only 6 or 7 rooms and a common area. I was tired and frustrated so I sat. At the 28 minute mark a man walked in with a child. He got loud with me and said he’s been trying to contact me all day. That’s BS. He repeated the number and he was not calling my number. He said he messaged me on Booking.com, but I told him I didn’t book there. He did not email. He was not friendly and DID NOT APOLOGIZE. Zero service recovery. I was tired and the reservation was prepaid by work, so I stayed the night. The location was close to Milano Centrale and the room was fine. I spend several months in Italy every year I won’t be returning to this hotel.
